Yes I’m sorry it’s a little dusty.

I hope that this will be more than just Another Urban Exploration (Urbex or UE) Blog. To me, this is a gallery, a soap box or whatever it may eventually grow in to. A place for shared experience about the exploration of ideas on space, place, time, context and ownership.

The places explored are the dusty relics of a world, not so far from your own, just tucked out of sight. Others are elite and owned spaces that stand infront of us, an affront to us, the city which surrounds them. Forbidden or forgotten, we are there.

You glance them out of the corner of your eye, or pass pieces of this world on the train in the morning, walk over some of it on your way to work, but never know how you would get quite over there, if you notice it at all.

Maybe you never will, but maybe just having a read here will be enough to break you of your comfortable rut and ignite the urge to explore and question, not distant mountains but the places that are all around us but we are told we cannot go.

We built these cities… It is time to reclaim them.
